If it makes you feel any better, I can confess to the world right now that I once seriously damaged the wooden flooring in a famous listed building by pulling up a strip of gaffer tape.
I was going to advise blaming it on paranormal activity (have you read The Canterville Ghost? Oh, of course you have...).. some years ago when I was the manager of a team of assorted dimwits and minor criminals, a computer levitated *all by itself honest guv* out of a window one night to die a scattery death on the roof of the garage below. The Big Boss asked me how I thought it had happend and I'm still proud to say that with a straight face I replied.. "Er, poltergeists?"
