Just wait until they have their own room, complete with kitchenette! That's going to be quite a shock to the system, when they have to wash up their own crockery. I predict a massive upturn in re-using a single cup.
I left one teenage girl at home today and (despite not getting in until 7.30pm) was (unusually) first home this evening, to discover eleven mugs, three plates, two bowls, a saucepan, a baking tray, the breadboard and miscellaneous cutlery (including, incredibly, the carving knife) awaiting washing up...
The dogs and cats were unfed, the ducks were out of pellets and their drinking water was pretty low...
No progress had been made with dinner and the three job application forms left last night were still not completed...
Madam was in the bath...
Words were said...If only you were nearer the South Coast I'd volunteer the little moo and you could take some REALLY good pictures of washing up bowls!
Oh heck, my shoulders sag for you as you look at that washing-up. That's so antisocial! I'm enjoying reading your blog whilst I'm in Prague - makes me feel very nostalgic!
Your outflow over cuppeths, evidently. I suppose there was also the usual collection of discarded hypodermic knitting needles, copies of Pensioners' Readers Wives and gin-laced bottles of Senatogen to clear up as well.

Selfish buggers.

"The paraphernalia of a nearby drug abuse"
(or whatever the Brass Eye quote is)
They do have a serious tea habit, that's for sure...
