The Return of the Doris

It has been a stressful time lately, hence my quietness online.

There have been work issues ranging from staffing problems to grievance hearings, all of which have required my time and attention.

Then my father became ill and had to go into hospital and all my work related dramas paled into insignificance.

Anyhow, the good news is that while none of these issues are entirely resolved they are better than they were. I have decided to re-open the blog and continue posting on such vital subjects as biscuit consumption, suicidal sheep and batty behaviour.

Stay tuned for comedy marquee japes aplenty!

Huzzah! I was about to hunt through my links when you emerged from the Internet all Aphrodite-like.

Or something like that.

As it happens, my geekly hubby and I are headed to Britain in little more than a week. I'm in "what else did I forget to do" mode. Don't worry, we'll keep a safe distance!

Hope your dad is feeling better...

Good to see you back, and pleased to hear that things are improving.

Time for the roof to leak?

I, too, have missed you; and I cannot see why you should not let off a bit of steam about public behaviour, now and then. how, otherwise, can people see them selves as others see them?

Ginny - thank you, my father is feeling much better now. Wow, so you're heading to Britain? Whereabouts are you staying?

Stitchwort - don't get me started on leaks!

Jennifer - well I agree, entirely, but I have yet to convince my area manager :)

I've always thought you preserved everyone's privacy very well, too. The photos are evocative without showing faces... animals are excepted from the "no faces" policy, thank goodness.
